Leon Minor, M.S.

Mr. Leon Minor currently serves as the Director of Student Conduct and Prevention Education at Tarrant County College, Northwest Campus in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, he oversees campus student conduct, the CARE Team, student emergency assistance fund requests, and related prevention educational programming opportunities. Leon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education from Radford University in southwest Virginia.

With over 20 years of experience in higher education, Leon has expertise in student conduct, behavioral intervention teams, Title IX, residence life, first-year experience programs, academic advising, and athletics. Additionally, he serves on the advisory board for the National Association for Behavioral Intervention and Threat Assessment.

Leon has held various leadership positions at Tarrant County College, including Interim Vice President of Student Affairs and Interim Director of Student Success and Advising. His responsibilities have included overseeing large teams and developing programs to enhance student success and support.

In his free time, Leon enjoys spending time with his spouse, Valerie, and their two daughters, Elizabeth and Olivia. He also enjoys cooking and coaching youth volleyball.
