We are excited to bring you the first installment of the NABITA Legislative policy corner, a semi-regular feature in our newsletters to help keep you up to date on policy-related issues. NABITA is always looking for ways to better serve our members and one of the ways we are doing that is by playing a more active role as your voice in policy matters and helping keep you better informed on policy matters that impact our field. We have been active at the federal level raising awareness about Behavioral Intervention Teams and the important roles they play in schools, districts, and colleges, sharing how NABITA can be a resource an expert resource to inform policy decisions, and ensuring that we are keeping abreast of the latest developments in policy relating to school climate, mental health, and other education issues.
