Keeping Your BIT Organized

Have you ever left a BIT meeting and thought, “What did we just decide to do in this case and what am I responsible for?” My university addressed this issue with a quick fill-out-as-you-go form that helps keep us on track and organized. Sure, we have an agenda, but this form has really prevented “chasing rabbits” and coming up with an intervention before a level of risk has even been assessed.

The Journal of Campus Behavioral Intervention

J-BIT

The National Behavioral Intervention Team Association has launched its flagship, peer-reviewed academic journal, The Journal of Campus Behavioral Intervention (J-BIT). J-BIT is a multi-disciplinary journal intended to encourage academic research and scholarship regarding the function, design, operation, and assessment of campus Behavioral Intervention Teams (BITs) at two- and four-year colleges and universities.
